Come Sit On The Couch With Musicians You Should Know THIS WEEK: Nik West and Darren J Fallas Sit On The Couch Nik West Nik West was scheduled for last month, but technical difficulties kept us from connecting.  I immediately made plans to bring her on, as this woman is incredible! She learned to play the guitar from her dad at age 13, but Nik realized her calling when she discovered the bass in high school while listening to Michael Jackson's "You Wanna Be Startin Somethin". A whirlwind of activities have kept Nik busy.  How has it impacted her life, and what is on the horizon - I will sit with Nik and discuss that and more while we listen to music from Nik Of Time. Darren J Fallas Then Darren J Fallas joins me.  Darren is a Memphian and a fine musician.  He current serves as president of the Memphis Blues Society. After moving from Florida, Darren immediately began making noise in the clubs around town and has spent his time as president of the Blues Society building the membership and expanding its reach. We will chat with Darren about his past and where he is heading in the future as well as his thoughts about the Blues Society and his goals as president moving forward. We will also be listening to music - hopefully from his upcoming new album.
